Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you require a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next success is being rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
